Egg Drops

The students worked really hard on their Egg Drop Structures!  The purpose of the assignment was to design a structure that could support an egg so that if it was dropped from a height, it wouldn't break.  The kids used cardboard, tape, shredded paper, paper towel rolls, plastic bags, etc., to build their structures.  They were so excited to drop their eggs from the top of the stairs outside of the school.  We were thrilled to discover that 11 out of our 12 eggs survived the drop!
